Zeid is a Toronto based artist and designer who explores his intersectional identity and history through furniture design and painting. He was born in Syria and has worked in both South Africa and Canada creating custom and limited edition furniture. 

Zeid marries wood-working expertise with painting to create one-of-a-kind furniture pieces that reveal complex cultural narratives. As a craftsperson he has honed his skills to combine traditional wood joinery with contemporary story telling. Zeid’s modern furniture and abstract decor objects challenge the boundaries of craftsmanship and social norms. Zeid is a talented emerging designer, whose output reflects the diversity of his experiences and knowledge gleaned from the numerous cultures and places he has called home.
