About the artist.

Zeid is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice spans woodwork, painting, writing, and ceramics to explore intersectional identity, memory, and migration. Born in Syria, he studied and worked in South Africa and Canada, creating custom and limited-edition pieces that bridge geographies and traditions.

With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Zeid combines his diverse talents to craft compelling narratives about past and present experiences. He is a published author in the anthology "This Queer Arab Family" and has self-published chapters from "From Damascus to the Moon," a book currently in progress with publication planned in the near future.

As a talented emerging artist, Zeid's work reflects the rich diversity of his experiences and knowledge drawn from the numerous cultures and places he has called home.
